Students chose green as ±«±·°Õ’s color more than a century ago to gain Mother Nature’s favor. And it’s long been more than a school color to us. It’s a sign of our long-running dedication to being environmentally responsible — from our first research in examining differences in tap water to today's numerous academic programs focused on environmental sustainability to our energy-saving efforts in our eco-friendly buildings. ±«±·°Õ’s , which opened in 2015, is a campus gathering place, built to stringent environmental standards. It will be our sixth LEED-certified building, joining such jewels as — the first newly constructed collegiate football stadium in the nation to achieve LEED Platinum Certification, the highest level.
